Personal background

To have a positive impact on people and organizations, with the initial focus on the individual, is at the basis of everything that Martijn does. In business, sports and NGO's, with extensive experience in the various domains.

He has a broad interest and curiosity in people, performance, and development. Often with an international, and thus cultural dimension, which makes it in his view even more interesting and fun. It was also one of the reasons why he, his wife Geeske, son Mees and daughter Jip lived a period in Switzerland, a wonderful adventure for all four.

Martijn has 12 years experience in international and managerial positions at ABN AMRO bank. He started TEAMVanWESTEROP in 2008 and supported various customers a/o ASML, Rabobank, KNVB and Solar Team Eindhoven and worked on many different programs and projects since, several times in co-creation with others.

He is a former player of the Dutch National Field Hockey team and HC Bloemendaal and co-author of the book "Talent Team and the search for a coach (in Dutch).

De SportMaatschappij signals, inspires and connects!

A vital employee is happier, a better colleague and is less often absent because of illness. De Atleetfabriek succesfully helped many companies to support employees to a healthier and more active lifestyle. With a unique and personal vitality program, aimed at nutrition, movement and mental guidance and which completely unburdens the HR department.

TEAMVanWESTEROP believes that collaboration and co-creation are key to create sustainable results. To achieve that we use the capabilities and expertise of other specialists. Besides that it is, in general, more fun to work together and realise goals with others. Therefore we cooperate with different partners in various projects and programs.
